The Holdrege Wastewater Treatment Facilities

The City of Holdrege's wastewater system serves residents and business inside and outside the city limits of Holdrege. The wastewater collection system is a network of sewer lines ranging in sizes from 4 inches to 12 inches in diameter. This is our collection network that transports the wastewater that leaves your property through toilets, sinks, and drains. Thousand of gallons of wastewater travel through sewer lines daily to reach the City's Wastewater Treatment plant for processing.

The Wastewater Department is responsible for maintaining the City's sewer lines, sewer lift stations, pump and Waste Water Treatment Plant. Crews clean and perform repairs daily on these lines and facilities to keep them operational. These crews also respond to emergency requests for service from residents to remove obstructions from clogged City sewer lines.
